HeritAccess – In Valdobbiadene, Italy, at the heart of the UNESCO Heritage Hills, the project dissemination event took place

On November 30, 2024, the Multiplier Event of the European project HeritAccess: Access to Culture and Heritage in Rural Surroundings through the Interactive Digital Experience (project no. 2022-1-ES01-KA220-ADU-000086106) was held at the Col del Lupo winery in Valdobbiadene. The event was a crucial moment for sharing the results and activities carried out during the project, actively involving associations, experts, and sector operators.

Among the participants were the Assi Onlus Association and Slow Wine, organizations committed to enhancing cultural and rural heritage. During the event, project materials were distributed, including the Guidelines, a key document for replicating the best practices identified. Both associations enthusiastically embraced the initiative and committed to providing valuable feedback to improve and refine the materials.

The day began with a warm welcome from Patrizia Loiola, President of Forcoop Cora Venezia, followed by a presentation of the HeritAccess project and its achieved outcomes. Special attention was given to the screening of photos and videos taken during the pilot phases, showcasing the participants’ experiences in the involved rural areas.

In the afternoon, a representative from Slow Wine led a moderated discussion during which participants shared suggestions, comments, and ideas for future applications of the project’s results.

The participants committed to disseminating information about the project among their contacts and within the industry, thus promoting the adoption of the developed methodologies. The goal is to expand the impact of HeritAccess and encourage greater accessibility to the cultural and natural heritage of rural areas through innovative digital experiences.

At the end of the presentation, Giulia Rosanda from Col del Lupo conducted a wine tasting session, which was also attended by individuals with various disabilities. They provided suggestions for improving both the winery’s structure and the tasting room.

The event was highly appreciated by attendees, highlighting the importance of collaboration between local and international organizations to enhance and promote cultural heritage.
